Plot
Knockin' on Heaven's Door is a 1997 German comedy-drama film directed by Thomas Jahn. The film tells the story of two terminally ill men, Martin Blank (Til Schweiger) and Rudi Wurlitzer (Jan Josef Liefers), who meet in a hospital and decide to go on a road trip together. Martin is a former gangster who is dying of leukemia, while Rudi is a timid bank clerk who is dying of cancer. The two men are complete opposites, but they form an unlikely friendship as they travel across Germany.
